District Web
Two web stories: keeping a district's public-facing presence accurate and accessible, and building a digital home for a program that did not yet have a brand.

01 What I was trying to solve
A public site that has to stay accurate across a lot of hands.
I manage Perry Township Schools' district website in WordPress and help oversee the broader web presence. That includes supporting 25+ school and program webmasters, conducting website audits, setting expectations and best practices, leading two district-wide webmaster trainings each year, troubleshooting, and helping maintain WCAG accessibility standards.
I also manage and share district-level information across school sites so messaging stays accurate, consistent, and current.

02 How it came together
A website built before the program had a name.
I built the WordPress site for Perry Township Schools' Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program from the ground up. The harder part: the program had no finalized name, no established branding, and very little public-facing content.
I developed structure, messaging, and content strategy around purpose, student experience, community partnerships, and future vision, a digital home that could grow with the initiative.
The site is now a central resource for students, families, community members, and partners: the University of Indianapolis partnership, construction and funding updates, and what the program is building toward.
This started as a tiny idea: give the program a digital home before it had a name.
